The CIPR is the professional body for public relations practitioners in the UK. With 9,500 members involved in all aspects of PR, it is the largest body of its type in Europe.

The CIPR said:

"Peter Carroll Associates affected public policy and legislative change through public affairs campaigning which powerfully mobilised public opinion. The judges were impressed by the passion, commitment and professionalism of the team, and the extent to which the results affected the UK population in the widest sense.

"Particularly notable was the use of a range of public affairs techniques including campaigning stunts, direct Parliamentary involvement and social media engagement in a strategic and planned approach."
